History Of First Aid

First aid is not only a difficult task, but it has also very complicated history. Some histories have little information about the ancient man. They usually have been tackled by many situations of first aid. Most of the people have now become more expert and skillful about dealing with the medical situations.
These people were called first shamans and witchdoctors. It was a start of the distinction between the medical cares that can be provided by the amateur and professionals. The distinction of medical education and first aid training has become more famous these days. In the history of first aid, priests became physician and the barbers became the surgeons.

Another aspect of the history of first aid is that, first aid was also involved in the warfare. Many people injured in battles and the lack of medical attentions caused many losses of lives. Soldiers were trained to treat their fellow soldiers before the arrival of medical treatments.

In 1859, Henry Dunant villagers in the Switzerland helped the victims of battle of Solferino. After four years, four nations met at the convention of Geneva and started Red Cross. In 1877, St. John Ambulance started a first aid company to give first aid training in the large railway centers and other mini districts. The term first aid was appeared in 1878 as a combination of National aid and first aid treatments. All the orders and first aid trainings of St. John were spread throughout the Europe and Britain. In the Britain, national ambulance teams were trained particularly for the railways, police and mines. In the modern millennium, there are different groups in the world that encourage first aid like the military and scouting movement. New techniques and first aid equipments have made first aid treatment very easy and effective.

Even a mild hearing loss can affect the ability of child to speak or understand the language. Hearing loss is very common and a birth defect in the child. According to a report, nearly 1 to 3 babies out of one thousand born with some degree of hearing loss. The hearing first aid also has very ancient history. The problem of hearing can be treated very easily.

The practical techniques and skills of first aid are basic points in the training of first aid, and there are some separations between the emergency and first aid. Today, all types of first aid and emergency treatments can be found very easily and effectively.
